On Tuesday, June 19, 2012 Sarnia Gives and the Sarnia-Lambton Local Immigration Partnership will be hosting a Cultural Diversity Training Day for Sarnia-lambton not-for-profit organizations.  The training is part of a partnership between Sarnia Gives and the LIP.

ChangeTheWorld may be celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, but it will be the inaugural year for the Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge in Sarnia-Lambton.  Along with partner the Sarnia Community Foundation, Sarnia Gives is bringing the 3 week campaign in the community.  Coordinator Samantha Scimmi says this campaign is about "growing youth volunteerism and teaching students that there is more to giving back to your community than just a credit towards graduation."
