Sarnia Gives | Home

Youth volunteerism is important to both students & the community. The aim of the Sarnia Gives Youth Program is to assist high school students in completing their 40 hours of community involvement activities; provide easier access to volunteer opportunities and information; bridge the gap between the education and not-for-profit sectors; and create life-long volunteers.

The Program also has a component for Sarnia Gives Member Organizations to will help them to provide youth-friendly volunteer tasks and improve the youth volunteer experience.

The backbone of the Youth Program is ChangeTheWorld (CTW).ChangeTheWorld: Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge is a four-week campaign with one goal: get high school students to volunteer in their community.  The campaign kicks off annually during National Volunteer Week in April.
